The world is fast changing with people experiencing the never anticipated events. The world was hit with an extreme economic recession that affected the world super powers like America, whilst America itself appointed the first black president against the beliefs of many. The solar system and the climate has not spared any surprises for the world either, with the world experiencing unexplainable climatic changes. So many has happened but one crucial thing that has impacted the world of today is the rising of women in all spheres of life. Women for the past have been rated as second citizens or as “the other” as Simone De Beaviour would put it across. Women have been considered to be the weaker and incapable sex but time has proved this to be just an image portrayed by male chauvinists. Women today have risen to take over businesses, churches, ministries, political positions and very influential positions in society and they have proved beyond doubt that they are as much capable as the opposite sex. Everyday brings reports of women excelling in different industries and these issues only inspire and incite more and more women to take up their stance and realize that they were not created as inferior beings but were created equal with men but different from them and hence the acceptance of their difference serves to be a great weapon for their emancipation. This blog takes a closer look at women excelling in different fields and serves as a platform for challenging other women that it’s time to arise and take up the task of changing the changing world.

Women are proving beyond any shadow of doubt that they know how to run businesses. Women like Janine Hills, the CEO of Vuma Reputation Management proved that when women take over businesses they can actually perform better than men. Hills is one of the female entrepreneurs that have made a mark in the business industry but making fruitful contributions to Toyotas management of its reputation crisis and according to the Financial Mail, her media training programs are attended by over 800 executives, half of them being CEOs.

Other women like Nokhululeko Nyembezi-Heita, Oprah Winfrey and Maria Ramos and Zimbabwe’s Tyrones’ Mandeya have exclusively excelled in the entrepreneurial sector starting generational businesses that will always rule the roost and will always be mentioned when business is being discussed. These women have proved that the tip or the heel actually speaks apart from it being heard knocking on the floor.
